It all kicked off during a surf trip to Portugal, where lifelong buddies and avid surfers Peter and Sebastian crossed paths with local Alexandre at a lively street party in one of Lisbon’s historic districts. They instantly clicked. Over the next few weeks, they explored the coastline, surfed epic waves, and forged a strong friendship.

On their final morning, they scored perfect waves under glassy conditions, with a light mist and an empty lineup. As they walked back up the beach, knowing it was the last surf of the trip, Sebastian turned and said:

“Every day should feel this alive.”

That single comment sparked a breakfast chat that, months later, evolved into Sebastian and Alexandre’s vision for BMG. Peter soon jumped on board, followed by their longtime friend Göran.

The four have stayed true to that original spark. BMG has grown significantly since that day, but its heart remains the same, drawing in people who crave that “every day should feel this alive” vibe.
